She graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering, Communication and Electronics in 1974. She obtained her master degree in Computer Engineering from Ein-Shams University in 1978 while working as Research Assistant in Egypt National Research Center. Her research thesis was about IEEE Standard Interfacing.

Mrs. Fayez’s expertise in IT includes over 28 years Software Development knowledge on a variety of computer platforms, operating systems and tools. She started her practical career in 1978 as systems engineer in Perkin Elmer Agent in Egypt. In 1981, she joined WANG Agent, EAT “balsam”, as a Senior Programmer Analyst. While working in development and support with many multi-national organizations in the fields of petroleum, manufacturing and retail (Esso, Mobil Oil, Makarem Group ... ), she was assigned Projects Manager and then Software Manager Assistant in 1985.

In 1993, Mrs. Fayez worked as Information Systems and Data Base Specialist in USAID projects for Health Insurance Organization and Egypt Telecom.

She joined NCR Egypt in 1997 as Development Center Manager. She was responsible for migrating Banking and Retail Applications to new Windows, Object Oriented Environment.

She is one of a group who established T3 in late 1998.
