Assaad Abdel Malek is General Manager for eT3, a software company based in Cairo, Egypt and specialized in development and support of e-commerce and standard multi-tier solutions.

He graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences in 1975.

He started his practical career at NCR Egypt in 1978 and remained in the same Corporation until joining T3 in March 2000.

During this period of time, he developed and supported a multitude of applications, running on several platforms, and mainly covering Hotel, Retail, and Banking Systems, in Egypt and Middle-East Africa Area.

As Integrator, he was responsible of Score Boards and TV interfaces during All Africa Games Held in Cairo and supported by NCR – Egypt, and also he developed all interfaces programs integrating different POS’s systems, Telephone Switch Boards with UNIX servers for Hotel Applications.

As Instructor, he worked as Regional Instructor for Latin America, Middle East, Africa, for three years, developing and teaching Project Management courses.

He also played a major role introducing the first UNIX SWIFT solution for funds transfer in Egypt and the Middle East region.
