Adel S. Elmaghraby is member of the board of eT3, a software company based in Cairo, Egypt and specialized in development and support of e-commerce and standard multi-tier Solutions.

He graduated from Alexandria University, Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science in 1973 and received his Ph. D. in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

He is currently Professor, Director of Multimedia Research Lab of Computer and Chairs the Computer Engineering and Computer Science Department - University of Louisville, Kentucky, U. S. A. He is also head of CSC, eT3 sister company in Louisville, Kentucky USA, which is part of the Intellas Group.

Dr. Elmaghraby’s 30 years diverse expertise and knowledge in Computer Science includes consultation to the Egyptian Government Decision Support Center and to various companies in the U.S.A. and Egypt. Several awards including the prestigious Golden Core award have recognized his professional involvement in the IEEE Computer Society.

He has taught and performed research at the University of Wisconsin, Carnegie-Mellon Software Engineering Institute, the American University in Cairo, Egypt, University of Qatar and the Egyptian Institute for National Planning.

Dr. Elmaghraby is one of a group who established eT3 in late 1998.
