eT3 participates with NCR , IBM, PT and ASSET in completing Banque Misr BackOffice Item / Check Processing & Archiving Project

eT3 mainly developed 2 different applications:

• b)  The first application is a Host Server Interface that acts as an on-line server to log and print all the bank transactions from the bank host (Main Frame & Unix Server). This application converts the transactions into consistent records that can be inserted directly into a database and spooled directly to a printer.    The application is the main part of the Bank Archiving System as it converts the host data from its Arabic character set into Unicode.  Also there is another character set conversion to the Arabic printer font so the transaction can be printed on-line one by one 
• a)   The second  application  controls the hardware of the NCR 7731 Scanner & Sorter Machine and gets all the information needed from the collected customers' checks , payment orders and other documents , besides sorting the documents automatically according to any criteria the operator will choose. The sorting can be by any field of the transaction either written on the check MICR line or from the host file. Item Processing Application
